Multiple 750 drives

I only the intel hd graphics, and already have a 400GB 750 in the pcie 4x slot. I assume putting another drive in the pcie16x slot of my asus pro gamer mobo would work fine but id like to be 100% sure! I could get another 400GB for almost half the price.
