multiplayer suggestions

my friend and i are looking for a good multiplayer game for us to both play. we love Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and how it's very big and spread out, we're not so much into the real close quarters stuff like Modern Warfare 2 and now Medal of Honor. we're gonna end up getting Battlefield: Vietnam when it comes out but we were just wondering if there was anything that's kinda flying under the radar in terms of multiplayer.

Can't think of any other larger map shooters like BC2. There's BF1943 that was released before hand on the XBL Arcade and I belive PSN. It's not a full game and isn't priced as such, but it might have the larger maps you're looking for (I've never played it).

Until Battlefield 3 comes out, that's the closest we're gonna get to large maps.

You can always try BF2, its been active since it went on sale on steam for like $5 dollars.

yeah i guess we could check out some older games for the time being.

i was looking into MAG but i've been reading it's faulty and not all that great.
