Multiplayer GTA III & Vice City for the PC?

Has anyone tried Multi Theft Auto?

I can't test it out because I'm at work, but man would I love to play this online.

I tried it out a couple months ago. It sucked, mainly becasue I had no idea what was going on or what we were doing...

It requires a lot of bandwidth, especially upload. My 100Kbit/s upstream was not enough.

You can play deathmatch and pretty much just do whatever you want. There is also a mode where one guy is it and everyone else has to try to kill him. We installed it at work last week. It's actually pretty laggy and it seems that everyone cheats. Some guys are impossible to kill. I blew up a car with the guy inside, hit him with a couple of molotov's, and then fired at him for a while with a machine gun and he just walked away.
