ok heres my setup.
Geforece 4Ti4600.
Viewsonic x910 lcd
KDS 190V 19" crt.


I got my dual monitors setup and working, but when i start a directx app, my secondary monitor goes to sleep. Isnt there a way to confine my game to the first monitor and still see my desktop/applications??
 
I've got a Ti4400 running dual monitors and whenever I run a DirectX app the second monitor stays on. Of course I can't surf the net on the other monitor if the DX app is running full screen, but it doesn't go to sleep.

Most games have a setting that allows you to play in full screen or windowed mode. Look in the video settings.
