Hey, sorry if this is in the wrong place, first post :p

I have 3 aoc 20" moniters and a amd radeon HD 6670 but can't get the others 2 moniters to connect I'm using a VGA female to dvi male and a VGA female to HDMI male for the third. I looked at the amd site and they had something about display ports, I don't have them and was wondering if I need moniters with dvi inputs a graphics card with display ports or a second graphics card. Thanks, and the moniters and VGA only.

So you need to get 3 analog/VGA outputs from your video card?

Do you have more information about the specific brand and model of your 6670?

It's possible your video card has only a single analog VGA output, with the others being digital. And, it may be impossible to get more than 2 outputs at the same time, if your card lacks a displayport output, even if it has 3 outputs total only 2 of them may be active simultaneously if you aren't using displayport.

thats all i know about my graphics card that it is vga, dvi and hdmi, so your saying i need a graphics card with more vga prots on it? is there a big difference between the vga and displayports/dvi? if so would it be better to change my moniters to get ones with dvi inputs on them?

We don't know enough about your video card to figure out what the issue is.

There is a chance that your video card is fine, and you just need to configure it properly.

However, there is also a chance that your video card is a bargain/cheap version, with some features disabled, so there is nothing you can do to get it to work.

We don't know if features are disabled, unless we can know the brand and model number.

However, can you examine the DVI port, what does it look like? Refer to the image below for comparison. Is your DVI port limited to digital-only?

You see, a DVI port can provide digital only, analog only, or both digital and analog together. If you have a DVI port that provides digital and analog, then the VGA adapter will work.

However, if your DVI port is limited to digital-only, then the VGA adapter will not work. Usually the digital-only limitation is indicated by missing the 4 dots surrounding the horizontal slot part of the interface.
