Multifunction panel sensor probes

Greetings everyone. I had just now completed my instructor's P4 2.8E on a P4C800-E with the SLK947U cooler using Shin-Etsu thermal grease. I began to have second thoughts as I affixed each probe on the upper right corners of the cpu and northbridge for a multifunction/temperature bay panel. Will this compromise enough contact between the heatsinks for each of the CPU and NB to abort this feature before I fire this machine up for the first time? This is the only hang up I have before I burn this box in.

That is what I had suspected. Than k you for your response Oroo Oroo. But what is funny is that the instructions indicated "Put thermal sensor unit on cpu then secure heat block". The entire translation for this no-name product is really bad. I think it is from the same company that made that Badong fan duct kit 'cause of the similiar packing and color. I would of never picked this item if it was up to me but I have to work with what is presented to me.

Anyways, I was thinking supergluing the probe to the heat sink just outside of the cpu. Since my familiarity is null for these probe gimmicks; any other suggestions will be helpful.

Thank you Jaxidian. I just ordered it. Is this also a preferred compound for the die and heatsink as well? It sounds to me that the Arctic Silver thermal compound is really durable for that task as well.
