Hello all,
I am planning to buy a multi-bay hard-drive enclosure with firewire/USB2.0 outputs, and connect two PCs to this case. I want both PCs access all the hard-drives in the case simultaneously (I did not want to use a network file server, because I need a very fast connection). So,
1. Is this possible ?
2. For example a 4 bay enclosure has 4 firewire and 2 USB outputs. How does this work ? A separate firewire connection to each bay, but one USB connection for two bays ?
3. Can it be done by daisy chaining (I am not sure how exactly this works) ?
Thanks,
Oz
