Multi Threaded Apps?

I decided to go with a dual core processor when I upgraded my computer yesterday, mostly because I do a lot of multi tasking anyway, so it would help out regardless of whether I use multi threaded applications. But I got to thinking, what programs are there out there that work better with dual core processors? I tried googling the topic but came up pretty short.


Does anyone know where i can find a mildly comprehensive list?
