Is there any plug and play way to run games across two (or three) monitors?

ie without the purchase of matrox triplehead2go!

I have 8800GT with 2x 20WMGX2

And also have a 7900GS for the third port, with another 20WMGX2

So is there any way to do this?

There's nothing that I would call plug-n-play, but Softth is about as easy as it gets.

Ah neat that could work given the hardware I have

By plugin play I guess I meant more like software or games that might work straight up.

Either in 2 monitor mode or 3

Supreme Commander is the only dual monitor-aware game I've ever seen. Some games will work with Softth more-or-less out of the box (i.e. the UI won't be distorted), others require some tweaking.

NVidia + XP for dual, or Either + XP + SoftTH for triple is probably the easiest way.

CSS worked triple
FEAR worked triple
Crysis lead to BSOD because of power draw @ 5040x1050
WoW crashes @ 5040x1050

That was fun to test, not really feasible to play all the time though because its a bit of work
