Multi-grafted apple tree?

Does anybody here have an apple tree with various varieties--just a single tree--and how is it working out for you? I don't want to turn my back yard into an orchard but I do want a tree and a multi-variety would let it self-pollinate, at least in theory.

im also interested in this. Are there any mulit-grafts on very small rootstock?
