Multi-client messenger's

was wondering if someone here could help me out with this.

I've tried allmost every multi-client messenger out there, EM, Gaim, Trillian, etc. And all of them have worked somewhat fine, aside from one thing.

I can't send files or Direct connect. I can do this on all of the orthodox clients, Aim, MSN, etc. But not on any others. Anyone have any ideas on how to help me out? I really hate having to open two clients at the same time.

You guys know any other client or soemthing I could use so I can connect?

if you're behind a firewall, obviously you won't be able to send files using Trillian - you'll hafta do the port forwarding thing.

i just recently found a client called IM2 - I haven't yet download or install - so I don't know how it works.

I also don't enjoy trillians lack of "direct connect" features. But I can send files fine, and I'm behind a firewall. I've been a trillian pro user for years.

You can send files with Trillian 2.013 and AOL?

Are you behind a software or hardware firewall?

Post your firewall settings here. I have been trying everything under the sun to get AOL to send files in AOL. Nothing seems to work. There are well over 200 posts on the Trillian forums with the same issues.

How do you do that? I am unable to send files from my Trillian Pro 2.013 to AOL/AIM and I am behind ZoneAlarm Pro Suite 5.1
