Mueller Subpoenas Trump Organization, Demanding Documents About Russia

it's important to note that Mueller could have just asked for the documents instead of issuing a subpoena, shit just got real indeed.

Indeed. It's a real "cut to the chase" move and now Trump's options are very limited. I would think any claim to privilege would be ruled valid because we're looking at things outside of Presidential confidentiality. The organization can refuse to comply of course and that certainly be interesting or Trump could just fire Mueller and say that as the Chief Executive, Mueller serves at the pleasure of the President and everything else be damned. Naturally, there's no predicting what a volcanically irrational person might do, but full, complete, and prompt compliance isn't high on my list of likely first responses.

No doubt that Mueller will be accused of being in cahoots with the non-existent/nothingburger Russia connection before long (if it hasn't already happened).

Major power surge reported at Trump tower, likely attributable to shredders.

Or maybe they thought by uninstalling MS Office that the documents become unreadable as well.

Trump Org has been accused of destroying evidence before in, I believe, various civil proceedings.

Seems like a good move and will probably scare some numb nuts into doing it again and getting caught, thus initiating another person getting flipped into a witness.

Chaos Manor is unpredictable.

It is a good question though as Trump specifically said before that any investigations into his personal finances would be a 'red line'. Now of course he lies about everything so it could have just been bluster but considering how hard he's worked to prevent any details of his personal finances from coming out I tend to think he takes this seriously. I wonder if this has anything to do with the rumors that he's trying to fire Sessions.

Definitely a serious move. For all we really know the Trump organization may have balked at voluntary disclosure.

Oh this is great- Huckleberry's going to have a press conference. The reporters just have to have their knives sharped with all the crap going on.

It's a key question, but who the heck knows that Trump might do. I suspect it may be the political equivalent of Greek fire doused on friend and foe alike.
