So apparently Barr has been discussing the full report with the white house for a few days now.

The DOJ also said they would make a statement at 930 tomorrow and trump says he may make a statement afterwards. Meanwhile the DOJ has told Congress that they will get the report around 11/12pm.

Anyone else seeing red flags here?

I am sure the usual suspects will be just as outraged as they were over Lynch's meeting with Clinton on the tarmac in Phoenix. /s

Seriously though, this stinks like rotten fish.

Unless Barr is trying to persuade trump to resign, his action is very concerning.

Nothing says "totally exonerated" like having your handpicked AG give a press conference on the report hours before it is released, him having shared it with Trump's lawyers (while stonewalling congress) and had meetings covering it's content so said lawyers can furnish the press with a 40 page rebuttal of the uh *checks notes* report that supposedly exonerates there president of obstruction.

Screw Barr and his press conference. Enough "framing" and filtering the report. Let's just see the goddamn thing. We'll be the judge of what it says and what it means. Whatever they haven't blacked out that is. That will be the next fight.

Close your eyes and pretend for a minute that Janet Reno was STILL holding onto the Starr Report this long after it was released and still redacting the cumstains off of it.

Now pretend that modern day conservatism isn't fucking plague that needs to be eradicated...

Yes, anything that sheds a bad "light" on the President or family will be redacted.

We'll see, huh? Meanwhile, they're throwing Roger Stone right under the bus, maybe hoping to slow it down. I figure him for a Trump pardon, anyway, so it probably won't hurt too bad....

I figure Manafort for a pardon as well, if not for him, Jr. and Kushy would probably be indicted in the Trump Tower meeting.

Haven't seen a news report, but wife tells me that she read the White House has already prepared a "35 page rebuttal" to the Mueller report, which has even been edited. So that's what they've been doing all this time it's been kept from the American public.

One wonders why a report widely touted by the White House and the entire political right as a total vindication of Trump needs a lengthy written rebuttal.

Curious that they are able to make a rebuttal to something they are not supposed to see.

Not a single member of Mueller’s team is participating in Consiglieri Barro’s press conference tomorrow. Trump announced the press conference before DoJ did. Some serious red flags.

It seems that Most People in this thread have already made up their minds about the report sight unseen.

You have any links or facts other than somebody wrote an article that said...

If I had, I wouldn't want to see it so much. I think Barr may have whitewashed it to some extent, but I have no idea by how much or in what way. Or maybe it wasn't a white wash. The point is we shouldn't have to speculate any more.
