Yeah, I know what you mean. I had to go to the VFS head office today to pay them some money... it's a little farther down that way... Almost Abbott street, and already it's starting to get a little nasty.
It's odd how you can have an extremely trendy, clean, expensive street like Granville downtown, and then go for a 5 minute walk to the crappy part.

Abbot? Now you are talking my neighborhood . If I decide to eat at Subway, I usually go down Pender to Abbot, down to water street. The urine smell by the alleys gets to me though.
