Much love to Soltek

I recently purchased a Soltek NV400 nforce 2 (Details and reviews for those of you interested I include at the bottom)

It has excellent over clocking features, but lacked one thing: and Adjustment for memory frequency.

I e-mailed Soltek about this, and about 3 hours later I get a response, in which they include a special enthusiast BIOS that adds this feature.

This is going above and beyond in my opinion and I really wanted to share that here, because I think they deserve the good rep, and also as another vote for those of you that might be considering this board.

wow, that's impressive. talk about customer service.😀

now they just have to start selling the mobo w/ that BIOS as a standard feature...anyways, kudos to Soltek.:beer:

Yep, that would be nice if it came standard.

I haven't tried it yet, but I will tomorrow morning, and then i'll post back about how it worked.

Lots of people complained about this, so they have it a system to address this now. I was one of the first to request those memory frequencies back on my FRN2-RL, and they eventually sent me that enthusiast bios.

Yea, Soltek is really good if you want a high overclocking mobo without all the add-ons.

I tried out the new BIOS, and it works flawlessly. So now at this point, as far as I can see there are no drawbacks whatsoever to this board. I am very impressed with Soltek right now.

I haven't checked their website, but they will give it to you if you ask for it. Also, if you want it from me, give me a PM and i'll e-mail it to you
