The Iraq war is not part of the war on terrorism. It is generating more hatred and terrorism.

Perhaps they will step up to the plate and mitigate terrorist attacks in the future, then; oh, wait, that would challenge their way of usurping power from the people...guess France and Germany will have to continue their work improving the human condition for all of mankind (except Israel).

He blamed the hostility partly on U.S. support for Israel, which assassinated Hamas leader Abdel-Aziz al-Rantissi in a missile strike in the Gaza Strip (news - web sites) Saturday weeks after killing his predecessor, Sheikh Ahmed Yassin.
I see, Mubarak. If Israel kills the people who are killing Israel's people, that causes hate. Israel must sit back and let it's citizens be slaughtered. Aha, I get it now.

And Israel illegally occupying Palestinian terrritory (Gaza Strip) means they should be free from reprisals?

Perhaps they should sit back and wait for the blue helmets to come and save the day....these kids are funny, no?

Ah, so you think the Palestinians should freely give up their land? I see.

The US is just lulling him into a false sense of security before they attack him and liberate his people.

That's not the reason he said. He blamed the hatred NOW on Israels killing of these murderers.

Mubarak is just saying that many Arabs feel that the US gave Israel the green light to kill Hamas leaders, which added to anger against the US.

Whether or not its true, what the US did, the Arabs will believe anything bad about the US.

And I was replying to what Mubarak said. He blamed the hate in the region now on Israel's killing of the two Hamas murderers, not on land issues.

I think the land issue is pretty much understood and does not need to be constantly repeated. Bush's historical kissing of Sharons ass with the whole West Bank settelment thing is understood to have caused a whole new level of hatred in the Arab world, just cause Mubarak didnt say so, don't mean it didnt.

I just received a pm on another forum from a jock buddy of mine at Ft. Bliss. He just got back from Iraq. He says that to a man the guys in his unit have never felt less welcome in a country than in Iraq. The idea that there are large numbers of Iraqis who love Americans is sheer nonsense according to him. He will be retiring soon so he won't be going back unless the Pentagon insists. Good grief....

Why should our boys be dying over there when they hate us? Let's get the hell out before more die.

Which is related to my original reply to you in what way?

Your post to which I replied implied Israel is only hated due to the two recent assassinations. You GREATLY distorted the reason for the hatred of Israel.
