1x AMD Athlon XP 2500+ Barton -- cooled with SLK900A and YS-Tech Adjustable 80mm Fan
1x Abit NF7-S Rev 2.0
2x Crucial 256MB PC3700

I bought a DVD-R too. Why do I do this to myself?

Sounds like my purchase about 6 weeks ago. I went with the Corsair XMS3200 RAM.

Sounds somewhat like my rig, except the memory.

2x Rebadged Twinmos 512mb PC3200 (Winbond BH-5)

Oops, I meant 3200.

The Corsair XMS was about $25 more, I didn't think it was worth it. I would've went with some Winbond chips but I was real lazy to search for them, I'll just buy some used off the FS/T forums when they pop up
