sick of seeing the same ole lambos, ferraris, SUV's. im waiting to see the regular cars that are souped up for speed, such as fbodys, supra, rx-7, wrx, cobras, etc.. guess none of them are real enthusiasts, if they want speed they buy something like a lambo , ferrari, etc... not from the bottom up

I don't remember if it was MTV cribs, but I saw on some show like that, they had Dale Earnhardt Jr. or some other race car driver's garage. He had some Camaro concept car that made like 600hp that chevy gave him ,and I think a Ligenfelter corvette, plus the NASCAR race car.

I also some some guy from a band.... I think that guy from Sugar Ray, had an old 57 Cadillac that was all restored.

I think that was the special edition with DUB magazine...thus the bling bling cars. Usualy cribs has a nice variety of cars...

I think the point jjyiz was trying to make is that they're not real "enthusiasts". In other words, they may own a Porsche, but they probably bought it because it's a Porsche, not out of any enthusiasm for car performance in general. Most of the people on Cribs probably don't get dirty working under the hood tinkering with it to make it faster and enjoy doing that. They just hop in the car and go on their way to making their next million.

The guy who takes a Honda and makes it a 300 HP monster gets more of my respect than the guy who drives a Porsche but can't tell you squat about the car besides the name, because he's too busy "impressing" people with what he drives.

Yes, nothing wrong with that at all. Just my personal opinion. I love Porsches personally, so don't take my words as an attack on Porsche, just the attitude of many owners. 😀

i'm a semi-enthusiast when i come to cars, i cant build anything or repair anything, but i'm pretty up to date about specs and what not. but it i was making 7 figures, i'd go straight for the bentley

bullseye. that was my point, thanks for elaborating. =)

in the end, the guy still drives a honda, while the other dude is driving a porche BUT im with you, i have more respect for the guy with the honda.

im just hoping that there is a true enthusiast that goes to the track once in a while in his car, and heck even show the camara's his timeslip. you know, something like that, or liek doing a crazy burnout for like 1 minute . heheh

Actually tonight there was some guy named Funkmaster Flex, he had some really pissed off cars- a '66 Impala, a '69 Chevelle, and a '70 Charger. They were mint, only the Impala had huge rims, but they were just Daytons. If anyone goes into much detail about their cars beyond the "this is my ride, its a......." its probably edited out for the sake of time and content anyways.
