This message is just a troll, but it's an interesting one...

So I'm watching MSNBC just now, and they went to a report from NBC's Cary Sanders, who was with the (2nd Battalion, 8th Marines) Marines when they went through a "hospital" recently liberated from Saddam's military, and they were discussing some of the evidence that the place was used for torture. There were boxes which contained cut up remains of US military uniforms, bloodstained. In one room was a bed with a large battery lying next to it, and the marine who was being interviewed believed torture likely occurred there. The curious thing? The battery was clearly labeled "FRANCE" in large letters. At the same location, they also found and showed gas masks and chemical suits.

Not at all. It appears to have been for real. I just had to post it when I saw FRANCE labeled on the battery...

Damn the Iraqi militia. I hope they all get killed soon, or get captured and put on trial for war crimes.

There is a silver lining in this. Just the fact that now the Marines are going to be PISSED OFF... and given the choice between having to confront the angry hand of god, or a bunch of pissed off marines... well, its like the question "who would win in football... God, or Ditka? HA, trick question, Ditka = God"

Battery? As in car-battery? And what do you think it means if it's proven that Iraq bought car-batteries from France?

You want to joke about US servicemen and women being tortured? You're about as low a form of human life as has ever existed on this planet. Why don't you visit a US military installation and start telling some jokes about that? :|

Since it was a hospital maybe they were tring to save some badly wounded US POWs, that's why theirs cut up uniform and blood stains. The "france" car battry could be also use as a power source for lighting, medical equitment, radio, etc.

But the chances of that happening is pretty slim. :(

Your "fargin joke" is misplaced, rude, and offensive. I'm glad to see you can

in laughter about Marines being tortured (who were then executed). Do yourself a favor and think before you post such clearly idiotic statements.

I just reread the whole thread and now realize my "joke" was tasteless. I'm sorry and hope that the possibility that US Marines or others have been tortured there is untrue.

Of course, that's the spin al-Jazeera and the Iraqi "Ministry of Information" would put on it..
