If kids truly belong to the whole community then I want a vote in who gets to have kids and how many and when and where.

If you wont let me have authority then I damn sure dont want accountability or responsibility. Thats a sure fire recipe for disaster and it amazes me how many people never learned this lesson in school or the work force.

That is not how the social contract works.

You ARE responsible (going to pay) for other people's children. Society has its costs, and education / health / etc are among them. This is like arguing over funding a fire department cause you don't care if other people's homes burn down. You aren't responsible for their homes.

They shouldn't have kids? Like saying those people shouldn't have homes if you have to pay for the fire department to protect them.

Ever heard of seperation of Church and state? Allowing the students to pray in school is a bad idea.

When did I defend "radical" Christians?

Yet you posted a thread last year protesting the removal of Religious signs posted and held up by the Cheerleading team during Football games at a HS in Texas. The district removed them because they had no business proselytizing their religion at a school Football game. But the Christians got upset, you got upset.

Its only a bad idea when Muslims are doing it.

I'm sure other posters can bring up more examples of you being a hypocrite.

Wrong, The reason I supported them was because they are always going after the Christians. They always attack them and try to find new ways.

Notice how they have a problem with Christians praying but not Muslims praying? Why the double standard.

Or how Google saying "Happy Holidays" instead of "Merry Christmas" was ruining America. Or defending the kid for threatening his teacher during the whole "stomp on the word Jesus" deal.

Christians have never been prevented from praying in schools. They're prevented from using school events to attempt to spread their religion. Notice the Muslim students being allowed to pray were leaving class specifically to avoid being disruptive and evangelical. Remember, Muslim prayer requires bowing and being on your knees, Christian prayer generally only requires that within a Catholic mass.

British Airways Christian Employee Wins Discrimination Case

Christians can wear their religion proudly...but not Muslims..

Burka/Niqab Allowed In Some Court Cases In Canada

Wearing Burqas and Niqab not required by the Quran...but a Christian flight attendant has the right to wear a cross even though her bible does not mandate it. I also thought it was cute that you threw a Sharia Law quip in there about Canada being overcome with Muslim-ness by allowing this.

Texas Judge Rules For Cheerleaders In Bible Banner Suit

Christian Cheerleaders have the right to proselytize their religion to patrons at a football game which is a school function...

BUT

Prince George’s Co. school lets Muslim students out of class to pray

You take special offense to Muslim students being let out for class for prayer...then you tend to cover up your Muslim hatred by saying you think NO religion should get special benefits for praying in school...

then you go right ahead and forget to keep your bullshit going throughout the thread. Yet another muslim hate thread.

You were in direct contradiction between the cheerleader thread and the muslim's praying in school thread.

I think Incapable of Rational Thought has been thoroughly destroyed with this. Let's not continue the thread derailment any more.

I wonder how many of them ever referred to other POTUS thusly:

--William Jefferson Clinton (or how about Bill Jefferson Clinton?)
--George H W Bush (while serving as president)
--Ronald Wilson Reagan
--James Earl Carter (or Jimmy Earl Carter)

etc...

I'm willing to bet that this was never done, and only dubya was ever distinguished with G "W" Bush simply because he was the second Bush.

The defense of "I am just using his middle name, why do you have a problem with that?" is woefully inadequate, and blatantly obtuse.

Yes, it is clear that such people obviously have a fear that President Obama is "not one of them," is possibly a terrorist, possibly a muslim sympathizer willing to do anything to slide this country into some sort of anti-Christian caliphate, or to simply run this country as a secular dictatorship like Saddam. It is hilarious, really. There is no honest defense of the usage that does not color the user of the term as, at best, a paranoid bigot.

No other president's middle name ever elicited such endemic and unfounded paranoia.
Perhaps one day you'll be able to see the inherent humor in your juxtaposition of the two sentences I've bolded. Yes, it IS hilarious. This is why I do it - the ability to generate a foaming rage among the man's, well, foaming followers just by using the man's name is simply irresistible. It is my guilty pleasure - I know I shouldn't do it, but it's simply too much fun not to do it. It's the most humor to be found in onamastics since Gore's followers sneeringly referred to W as Junior. (For those not in the know, our dear former Vice President IS Al Gore, Junior.)

Mmm, mmm, mmm!
Barack Hussein Obama
He said that all must lend a hand
To make this country strong again
Mmm, mmm, mmm!
Barack Hussein Obama
He said we must be fair today
Equal work means equal pay
Mmm, mmm, mmm!
Barack Hussein Obama
He said that we must take a stand
To make sure everyone gets a chance
Mmm, mmm, mmm!
Barack Hussein Obama
He said red, yellow, black or white
All are equal in his sight
Mmm, mmm, mmm!

I don't know what she was intending but maybe she meant that it is everyone's responsibility to make sure kids are brought up in a good way rather than solely the parents. Of course people will look at this through some political viewpoint rather than take the comment for what it is.

The difference is that there is always an attempt to attack Christians and they are always going after Christians and finding some way to stop them but they only do this to Christians. Remember Christmas and everything they did, Stomp Jesus, Easter, WTC Cross, obama-This is not a Christian nation- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tmC3IevZiik

And yet it's perfectly alright for obama to use the class warfare rhetoric. Attacking the rich to try to provoke anger at them.

It worked for Jefferson and it worked for Jackson, and it worked for Harding, and it worked for Teddy and for Kennedy and well...

whatthefuckever. You think this is somehow unique

Do you think ti was OK for Bush to attack the educated people of the country and turn the drooling idiots against thinking Americans? Why do you prefer one particular class warfare over another? ...and what have the rich done for you, in all honesty? It's clear to all of us here that the uneducated have given you succor and so we understand your tolerance of that form of class warfare, but I don't get your constant knob-schlobbery of the rich; other than the obvious fact that you use it as an empty vehicle with which to attack the brown president that you fear.

basically...how can you honestly attack the class warfare strategy when you so proudly wallow in it?

I do tend to believe that you are smarter than such silly conceits..as it's clear there are many hillbillies and rednecks that do it for very clear reasons--they honestly believe that Obama is a secret muslim terrorist bent on some form of secular communist/fascist (it's funny that he is both!) overthrow of the government....I mean, you know this, certainly...

....but you admit that you do it simply to drive vitriol from liberals and other well-read individuals? that's interesting.

As for me, I rarely, if ever comment on it--I simply use the use of that expression as a quick and effective gauge of determining the profound idiocy of the one who uses it, thus saving me the effort of attempting to engage them in meaningful discussion. Which is why I am surprised to see you use it :\

Not liberals - progressives. Liberals tend to realize that it IS his name, he's not ashamed of it, it denotes nothing more than his having a Muslim father, and it therefore holds no particular power. Proggies, however, cannot stand any presumed disparagement of the Messiah, even the mere use of his middle name. Proggies attach a Muslim if not terrorist connotation to his middle name and thus must attack anyone who dares mention it.

As I said, it's my guilty pleasure. Compare it to Moonie's constant posting of articles about how conservatives are mentally defective - he KNOWS it's ultimately pointless, but it's just so darned much fun!
