I was looking browsing the Hot Deals thread and someone mentioned MSN wallet. Can someone explain how it works and whether it's worth looking into. Thanks.

Ditto. I'm especially not giving them info for something that's chock-full of security holes.

Yes, it's free and easy all you need is a hotmail e-mail address.

Yes they store all your personal info so remember you should ALWAYS use a cc online not a debit card.

For some reason I balk at anything that involves "Microsoft" and "Wallet."

Up to you... 20% off those stores really useful to you to be Microsoft's bitch? It was for me a few years ago, I even used one of those one-use CC#s on a Mercata deally... those were the days... hot deals were actually superflaming hot...

I'd trust them, too. Anything's more secure than PayPal.

I've had my cc info stored in my MSN Passport Wallet since 2000 and nothing bad has happened as a result of that (yet). Yes I do think it's worth saving 20%, would you rather pay retail $500 for a stereo setup from CircuitCity.com or pay $400 and give MSN your info?
