MSN Search beats Google in USA - BS?

Is it just me when i say that's complete BS? "Make the web more useful"... i hardly find anything useful or even remotely close to what i'm trying to look for when i use MSN Search.

More people use it? Could that just be attributable to the fact that IE defaults to MSN Search whenever an error occurs?

Thoughts? Opinions?

I am sure Google is preferred by 90% of AT users, but AT users do not represent the general public. MANY people have MSN as their home page. It's just like AOL being the #1 online service... those in the know realize that it is crap, but tons of people use it anyway.

Yep. Notice how any updates to IE take you to a Microsoft page with a default of setting your home page to msn.com. I HATE that! My home page is where it's at for a REASON. I put it there!

The article doesn't say 'better'
it says popular

Look at how many people use AOL, better yet
look at how many idiots populate OT

its because of the silly sods that click on the search button in IE. also in IE if you type in an invalid URL it will take you to an msn search page. Google is still #1!!!
