MSN Messenger 7 is trying to protect my security?

MSN7 has a little yellow box at the top of my contact list saying "For security reasons, some advanced messenger features have been turned off. You can still send and recieve instant messages."

What are the security reasons and what are the advanced features? I love how Microsoft is so helpful to its customers. =/ It's annoying having that big message box stuck there.

might be something you set (security level) in ie maybe? i disable messenger so i'm just guessing.

the msn messenger i d/led is version 7 but it says "beta" and im reading there are some security issues with this. Should i be concerned and revert back to ver 6.2 or no?

It went away for no reason. AFAIK nothing was changed.

According to the beta newsgroup, they were performing server-based security testing. You guys remember the fiasco around build 205, right...?
