I RMA'ed my K8T-Neo-F for having a DEAD DIMM slot. Mailed it a week ago, and they had it for 8 days already. Fine. Thats not thaaaat bad.

I call for an update and was told that it will take up to 30 days of testing before the board will be sent out for shipping. Nice. Couple that with Fedex Home Delivery from California to New York, and I am looking at a JUNE date to receive my motherboard.

GOOD FVCKING JOB MSI.

Oh yeah my PSA --> STAY THE FVCK AWAY FROM MSI.

Welcome to the club.

They have my SECOND MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum motherboard and they received it on the 11th of April, and they're still 'in process'. F-ing BS for a $150 motherboard. I won't ever buy MSI again.

KDS (monitor company) does, I had 3 dead pixels on my lcd and they shipped a new one, got it in 3 days. Even before that I had an old crt from them with a broken button, 3 days and I got a new one - they didnt have that model in stock so they gave me a LCD of the same size!

ASUS was the BEST RMA I HAD, TOOK LIKE 7 business days i love ASUS

I got my Hitachi hard drives within 10 days, and my ATi video card in about 2 weeks. I guess I got used to quick-ish RMAs.

Your Dimm slot was not dead; the order was merely reversed. Port 3 was Port 1, vice versa. This is why your motherboard wouldn't boot.

Read the support forums next time.

This is the reason I don't buy MSI anymore, too many damn problems. Although their return on my RMA was quite speedy. The quality of their products suckzzzzzzz.

I wanted 4 DIMMs to work. I tried 4 matched Kingston sets and it didnt work. Also tried 4 matched PDP sets and it didnt work.

The board would not post when 4 DIMMs were installed. I spent 2 days troubleshooting and RMA'ed it after speaking with tech support.

In all I got my hands on 14 DIMMs and NO GO with 4 DIMMS installed.

Is it unreasonable to expect a 939 motherboard to work with 4 DIMMs? Also, my CPU and all DIMMs worked on an ABIT AX8 prime stable for a few hours, it wouldnt EVEN POST on the K8TNeo.
