MSI x700se 256mb

I installed 2 different MSI x700se video cards into 2 different PCs. The card has 1 vga port and 1 DVI port. They did not come with DVI to VGA adapters. I had a pair of the adapters that I used.

Each PC has 2 VGA monitors. In device manager only 1 display adapter shows up? I thought with dual display 2 devices show up.

The vga port to monitor works OK on both but when I go out of the dvi video port into the adapter to the vga lcd it says it gets a bad resolution or something thats not supported by the monitors.

Do you guys have any ideas?

Thanks!

Could be that MSI decided to go the cheap route and didn't put an extra VGA transmitter on the card. Do you have a DVI monitor you can try on that port?

You know, the more I see of this, the more I am really thinking MSI is going downhill with their products.
