MSI X1900XTX: $277 after rebate at Newegg!

it's the thought that counts. What makes this deal interesting is that Newegg also has MSI X1900XT for $275 after $100 rebate--a mere $2 difference. Both require $6.40 shipping, by the way.

seriously, kinda sad how no one has the x1800 and everyone wants the x1900 🙁.

I'm kinda curious what's behind all this.

ATI had a huge sale last week and MSI has had this huge rebate.

Makes me wonder just how soon the DirectX10 cards will be coming out with all the deals going on and some models of the cards drying up.

Actually... within a week for G80, from what I am hearing... 😉

whoa, that close?

I've read that DX10 is compatible only with Vista, so if a DX10 card costs $450.00 when Vista is released you still have to pay somewhere around $300.00 for the OS. That makes the X1900 series seem like a budget buy.

Does that mean if the G80 comes out this week that it will be backwards compatible with DX9?

I would hope so.

Great. Now it's 3 to 4 times the cash to throw away on the Bill Gates shady Empire.

MSI X1900XTX: $277 after rebate at Newegg is the only good deal here. Priced right.

Though since DX10 is around the corner the video card makers will be forced to dump their load of DX9 cards even faster...

Wait

Since it's about damn time I retire my MSI 6600GT, I bit the bullet and ordered the MSI X1900XTX from ZZF...

Oh yeah and I threw in 2 Seagate 320GB SATA 7200.10 drives as well. I think I lost my mind. 😀

Pricing structure should be similar to XP. Home Basic upgrade for $99, retail box will be $199. If you want all the bells and whistles of Ultimate... plan on dropping a few Bens.
