They actually seem to be a little slower than the old 8x boards (at least the A8N32 is):

This looks a pretty good board otherwise, especially with the integrated Audigy chip, and the slot layout seems more intelligent than many other boards. The EPS connector is in a bad place though.

I have been using this A8N32-SLI board for the last week.

I was having some quirks with my MSI SLI board after I switched to my 170.

Mediaplayer would reboot my machine when I would open certain video files.

Aside from the temperature reporting being somewhat borked this board is really really stable. Maybe the most stable I have used for A64.

Your MSI mobo must hate porn...

There isn't much of a performance benefit, as it seems the board loses its higher speed due to a higher latency (the fact that it needs two chipsets is the cause of this it seems...)

hehe, it must have just decided to develop a conscious recently. When I put my 170 in the damn thing would ****** the bed every now and then.

The Asus is damn solid. And I am clocked 100MHz higher on the processor and hitting DDR520 on the RAM.

this board would be worth the $230 pricetag (or more) if it has the 8-phase power like the asus a8n32-sli deluxe. i don't see this mentioned anywhere as to how many phase power the k8n diamond plus has. otherwise just about every other feature of this mobo is equivalent or better than the a8n32, especially the onboard audio.
