Found through Pricewatch and I ordered one last Sunday! It even includes S-video cable & 4-port adapter for VIVO. No DVI to VGA adapter though.

Great Bundle included:
3 full games
10 demo games
Everything needed for VIVO

Check it out at GameVE.com!

I'll post my experience once I get the card and run it through its paces!:D

This card is not a VIVO. I talked to someone at msi this morning and he said the webmaster made a mistake on the product page. Only the 4400 and above can video capture. Online stores are copying this mistake from the msi site and putting it in the product description. The description on msi should be fixed by tomorrow morning. I almost bought it...

Well, the card came in today - shipped Monday, recieved Thursday. It was in the retail box, and I must say the package is impressive! Here are some details:

GPU cooling fan looks neat, but will find out how is actually cools!

3.6ns memory speed on the chips - should be good for 560mhz speed BEFORE overclocking

3 FULL games - No One Lives Forever, Aquanox, and Sacrifice

Each CD (and 1 DVD) has a jewel case

IT COMES WITH A DVI-VGA ADAPTER INCLUDED FOR DUAL VGA!

As far as for the VIVO, this card does come with all the Video Out/Video In cables necessary. The manual instructs how to install the Video Capturing Software and make the connections - but the manual is generic for all cards from Ti200 to Ti4600. I'll have to check the card to see if they have the chip on it. It seems several websites have this card posted as a VIVO. I'll have to call MSI myself to verify.

Haven't installed it yet, but will in the next couple days.

Is this still going? I was searching for it and couldn't find the item.

Also any news/opinions RajunCajun on the Card?

Well I installed it, using the MSI 28.90 drivers included on the CD. YES, it DOES have VIVO! Came with all the Video In/Out cables needed. The Video Capture software installed OK! Haven't tried the VIVO yet. Go over to Hexus.net --- they reviewed this very same card a couple of days ago, and THAT card also had VIVO. They were very impressed, giving it a 9 out of 10 score!

Overclocking? I immediately went to 300 core/600 memory without any problems. Hexus got there's at 320/650 (or somewhere around that). Several loops of 3dMark2001 functioned without a hitch! Would probably go higher but I'm satisfied for now.

DAMN! A quick check at PriceWatch found this card selling for $141 + s/h. GameVe.com, where I bought it last week, is now down to $144 + s/h (about 8$)! Oh well, I knew they would continue dropping AFTER I bought it.

A little background. This card replaced an eVGA GF2 MX (the original) that I bought for $98 WAY back in the fall of 2000, just after the MX came out. This card has been very good for me on my lowly system (P3 850, 256mb). Heck, my CPU couldn't even push the MX to its max! But hopefully this fall I change out my CPU/motherboard to bring me up to about P4 2-2.5ghz.

Which is one reason why I bought the Ti4200, along with the ability to get all those goody DX8 games. As far as the VIVO, I don't plan on using that feature soon, but I like the idea that down the road I'll have that ability! So I won't be checking VIVO out at my house anytime soon! (SORRY!)

Anyway, I found another review of this same card over at "PCStats.com". They got the dang thing up to 321 core/608 mem without even trying hard!

I can wholehartedly recommend this card to ANYONE looking for a Ti4200.
The Great Bundle + VIVO + Cables + GREAT OVERCLOCK = about $145. This is about the same as the VGA-only Gainward, and look at how much more you get for same $$$!

Hey. i finally bought a 128mb gainward ultra650xp which has vivo. $200 shipped 3day express. I did not go with the msi because every place i called told me the vivo in the description was a mistake...even gameve told me it is not on the card and they checked it personally. There were however test cards of the msi 4200 sent to reviewers that had vivo. If your card has vivo then thats an awesome price especially with the software package. I would definitley rather have that than my card which i bought for $200.

RajunCajun, a couple of questions:
- I heard that the fan on the MSI is very loud. Is this true?
- Have you tested the VIVO? Does it actually work?

hi makstaks,

why do you rather have the msi? is it just the price, or is the gainward not a good card? i've narrowed my choices down to the gainward vivo, leadtek vivo, and evga vivo. all 3 have 128mb of ram. out of the 3, evga seems to be the cheapest. but i'm still trying to find out which one has the best 2-d quality. how's the gainward's 2-d? also how high have you been able to overclock it to?

Actually i will be very happy with the gainward and it has got to be the best buy for $200. I wanted the msi because it comes with a lot of games, all the software for vivo, but mostly because i am a cheapass and thought i could get a 128mb for $175. Now i just realized that with shipping and possibly tax, the cost would come out to about the same.
The gainward is probably the most recommended 128mb card with vivo. A definite plus about the gainward is that they support overclocking and even include a utility for it. I don't have the card yet, but reviewers have clocked to at least 320/540 using only software. I heard evga doesn't come with complete software for video capture.

I bought my card from these guys
$205 shipped 3 day
They were nice and gave me a $5 discount. They also throw in a microphone with these cards.

Its hard to pick between leadtek and gainward as they should be the two best companies for GF4 VIVO's. You can't go wrong with either...the software package looks better for leadtek but gainward supports OC if you use thier software. Gainward also OC's pretty high. eVGA is supposed to not have enough software to take advantage of vivo. Oh yeah, i was going to get the chaintech gt21 because it looks cool but then realized you can't hook up composite video! Laters...

I also want to know about the VIVO feature.... because MSI site doesn't list it as VIVO capable.

I have no first hand experience with these cards, but Leadtek has been touting their 2d since the Geforce2s.

The leadtek is just a bare card. It does not worth 160. Bare card means no cables. Anyway, I look around Game VE, there is an aopen TI4200 VIVO 128mb ddr for 160 free shipping. the MSI card currently showing "no vivo" at gameve.com. HOwever, this website shows that the MSI TI4200 has Vivo and if you said that you are from pricewatch, the price is 139 +shipping. Pretty good I guess, but I have to stick with my brand new ati aiw 7500. Sorry too late. I guess the turner and the remote are the only two advantages
