I got the sapphire pulse in a shuffle when they first came out. Mine was $439 so this isn't a bad price. I should sell the darn thing but I think I might give it to my nephew and sell his 1060 6GB and old GTX 960 to recoup some of the costs.

Selling a 1060 6GB and 960 should net almost $400 these days. Ha. And this is a lot faster than a 1060 even people aren’t thrilled with them.

Funny how your 6600 card would likely bring $500 second hand now. It’s appreciated!

i dunno if that is true, after selling fees shipping, finding someone that wants to pay top $ for a 1060 :) there is one in the fs forums for 260 that was listed months ago? :) i have a box with 1080's and 1070's wish to buy faster cards but dont want to deal with selling until i can buy something decent in stock.

1060 locally would fetch more than $250 cash, maybe $260 or more.

960 would get more than $100, maybe $140. Again, cash.

If you live in an area with active FB/CL and do business in cash I think it would be possible with a touch of work.

Looks pretty dependent on model at what the eBay price is. Still pretty nuts, it's like what they were worth new :D

1070 and 1080's go for $400-$550 locally here.

When they are priced right, they disappear from the FS/FT forum here so fast you probably don't see them!

well craigslist and fb sales are annoying to me and no one wants to pay listing price. i have cards posted for over a year on craigslist and only a few bites here and there and no one looking to really buy. of course ebay prices are high but you pay high ebay selling fees and risk returns and other nonsense. /shrug, i did list a few things on ebay and they didnt sell, which cost me 6$ to list or something silly then another 6 from a non paying bidder, after that i gave up. (sold 2x980ti before giving up for around 600 after ship and fee's)

Man, finding a head to head review is hard. The sucky sites I have seen with batched up junk show the 1080 as marginally slower than the 6600, which makes sense because it looks like the 1080 is generally slower than the RX 5700. But it's hard because those reviews are generally pushing higher resolutions.

My local Microcenter has consistently had 6600 and 6600XT cards in stock every time I've stopped in. I have no urge to spend more than $350 for a card like that, unless I'm desperate, but yeah, if you are willing to spend $450 for a 6600, they have them.

That said when you've got nothing and if you said you could get a brand new GTX 2060 or GTX 1080 for $449, you might grimace but... you might consider it?

As much as we hate on it that's the performance range of the card and you can have a lot of fun and some pretty graphics with that much GPU.

I do appreciate the heads up - I saw a reference to MC in another thread and checked and they have a handful of 6600XT for $560 here. $100 more for ~10% more performance makes me frown, especially given that it really does almost nothing to close the gap to the 6700XT which is a different league, performance wise. In a pinch, that'll work.

Dawid does a build with a 12400F and an RX 6600 XT PowerColor HellHound. Really surprising how much performance you can get these days for (relatively) cheap. (119 FPS @ 1080P in Escape from Tarkov)

That three fan wind force is ludicrous!

A full fan and big chunk of heatsink off back of the card…. If they want better margins, they know smaller heatsinks fit in smaller boxes, right 😂

Nice finds, these seem to continue to be the “best value” available. I Hope we see solid availability of the XT at $500 or less shipped soon and that things keep moving that way.

is there any marked difference between all of the different 6600s? my rx480 is getting more and more angry at me and I'm not sure how much longer I can wait out the current pricing nonsense.
