MSI screwed me out of the last rebate. Something about having to get a "special" separate invoice from the vendor that wasn't included with the shipment. And they wouldn't back off despite the vendor calling them. That's maybe the only rebate I ever had a major problem with.

The vendor (Zip-Zoom Fly ) did give me a $20 credit toward another purchase to make up for it.

Newegg comments indicates it comes with the low profile bracket for the DVI/HDMI connections. No low profile bracket for the VGA connector but who uses VGA in this day and age?

I've used this in several machines. Very competent, while obviously not a powerhouse! A nice item for a low-end HTPC, being fan-less. Runs hot, but thrives that way.

'Even tossed it into my first multi-GPU Folding rig while testing it. 🙂

(As for the lack of a low-profile VGA bracket: it's inelegant, but you can just dangle the unbracketed VGA connector out the back w/o a problem -- use anti chafing tape if it's squeezed by a cover-plate. But, yeah, it's cheap of them.)

The combo deal looks better if you don't read the memory stick's owner ratings at NE! The combo price is certainly right, but a lot of owners seemed disappointed with the stick's bandwidth and other issues.

The $20 rebate expires on the 16th, IIRC.
