Make sure the board can boot with the RAM given it's voltage requirements. Some boards won't default to vRAM above 1.8 as it's above the "standard" DDR2 voltage. The OCZ kit I picked up is also DDR2-800, but it's SPD settings default to DDR2-667@1.8v so it will boot on all motherboards.

For compatibility check, check OCZ's site and if your motherboard isn't listed there, open up a thread in the OCZ Tech Support forum ( else send a PM here to RyderOCZ, but that might take some time because he's not checking these forums quite often )
