I'm waiting for an MSI/NewEgg rebate on a different board. They've acknowledged the submission and I expect it to get denied. Then I'll threaten to send the info to my states AG (he HATES rebate scams) and they'll pony up. It happens that way on every rebate. They deny hoping the customer will either forget about it or figure it's not worth the effort to fight. Then they'll pay off the people that complain.

MSI is just BAD. Said also no re-submission, but I sent the orig Newegg invoice and they said not all the info was included that was just bull.............
No more MSI stuff for me

They gave me the same line of BS on one of the rebates I sent in. I shot them email telling them I do not want a "re-submission" as I sent the required documents on time already. I told them I have copies as I scan to PDF everything before it goes into the envelope... especially the original UPC and S/N label you usually have to cut off the box. Have not heard back yet.

This might be conincidental, but I find MSI tries to deny more Fry's deal claims than Newegg. I suspect it's due to the feedback at the egg you can post for all to see. With Fry's you get no such public opinion option.

Never again MSI , Good for Newegg they stood behind the rebate but never again any more MSI stuff for me. = Newegg Good..... Thanks Newegg!

If anyone wants one of these and does not wanna deal with rebates shoot me a PM. I've upgraded and will let my very lightly used MOBO I got in this deal go for $75(less than what I paid with CA tax) + shipping. Heat in siggy.

True about the shipping, but I'll have to pay shipping to send it and break even. IMHO it's not an OK lga775 board, it's one of the better ones. I'm not gonna argue about MSI and rebates.. we all know it's a crapshoot. No rebate hassles buying from me... promise.
