MSI P35 NEO2 FR Processor Question

Hi,

I'm really interested in buying a MSI NEO2 FR mobo. At the moment I don't have enough money to buy a new CPU too and I'm really confused about the support of my actual CPU. I checked the CPU Support Chart on MSI global web page, but I guess that my CPU's result is UNDER TESTING ( http://global.msi.com.tw/index...cat2_no=&cat3_no=#menu ). I own an Intel P4 3E Ghz (FSB 800MHz, 1MB L2 Cache, Prescott).

So my question is: Should I buy this mobo to use a few months with my actual CPU until I can save some more money to buy a new one. Will it work ? :-

Thank you very much,

My current mainboard is an EPOX "shity" which supports just DDR400 and a poor AGP graphic card. I am upgrading all my components except the processor because I want a Q6600 or smth like that in the near future. At this moment I am buying 4 GB of Corsairs, a good video card and a 500 Hard. Briefly, what I am for is to build a good system step by step, if you get it. I don't want to buy a bunch of cheap components at the same time; better one by one, but good.

So, any opinions regarding the processor compatibility?

Thank you again

I have not tried that processor in the Neo2-FR, maybe email MSI support and see if they can give you feedback.
