2 in SLI or just get the 760? That is the question.

Thanks for the link though.

Just a heads up, I had issues with this card and the RAMed version too. The drivers would crash often in my system even after a clean install of windows. I ended up with an Asus card instead that is working flawlessly.

I had some issues with a similar MSI card - with the same heatsink. I took off the heatsink and re-applied some old arctic Silver II on the gpu, and the temp dropped 20C. It was great after that. I didn't lap it or do anything else - I just plopped on some 8-year old AS II, and that made a huge difference.

How much work was this? I picked up the 7950 Twin Frozr and this sounds interesting if it's not overly labor intensive.

I bought this card a couple months ago for $140 after rebate. (I think you posted that deal, too!)

I really, really like it! It's not cutting edge, but it plays everything I have tried very smoothly and best of all, the cooler is efficient and QUIET! Even when the fan spins up during game-play, it is still unbelievably quiet.

I always stay a generation or two behind the curve as far as graphics cards go, but I am extremely satisfied with this card.
