Just my opinion...but the MSI board has a lot of nice features; I haven't seen the specs for the DFI. This board should overclock well...and ....it's AVAILABLE! 🙂

Since ASUS hasn't posted anything about a new NF4/Non-SLI this should be the one to beat...great reviews everywhere.
 
Interesting though, if you look closely the ZZF model has two PCIe X1 slots, while Newegg's has a x4 and x1? Probably just a typo on the ZZF site, but maybe not?
 
The NewEgg board is different than the ZZF board. The NewEgg one has 1 PCI-Ex4 and 1 PCI-Ex1 slots while the ZZF one has 2 PCI-E1x slots. Even the pics are different.....

The DFI Ultra board looks interesting as it has 2 PCI-E x16 slots, and 1 PCI-Ex1 and 1 PCI-Ex4 slots, despite the fact that it's not a SLi board (http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/...sp?ProductCode=246486). Who knows when it's going to be in stock though.....

doh!! i just bought a x800xt(AGP) with a msi k8n neo2 plat(3500+) and a 2005fpw dell lcd.. I was waiting for pciexpress for two month now..... so do you guys think i would have got a much better pc if i waited 2 more days for the pciexpress?? i was telling myself that if i really need a better vid card next year i will change the motherboard anyway..

Dang...That's a really good system. I waited for this board, but i wasn't going to spend that kind of money for a vid card. I went with a 6600GT (Leadtek). You should be more than happy with that system! :beer:
 
Hmmm. Since MSI's board is out and that review seems to favor it, I may actually consider buying one. Unless ofcourse the DFI comes out soon and is just incredible as expected, then its DFI without a doubt. Good to see more nForce 4 Ultra boards coming out though.
 
Yeah, we're all waiting on pins and needles for DFI to make their move, its about that time of the month...that is, when they're supposed to be released.

I contacted Thermalright with that question: They said it the 120 would fit, but you 'may' loose one DIMM slot.

I went with an XP-90; the 120 was not that much better to justify loosing a Ram slot IMO.

Yeah, waiting on that too. In addition to Venice. It seems like a ton of people are waiting for the same things as I am. I guess I just want popular stuff. 😀
 
MSI sucks.Ive heard too many stories about them. Too many people complain and too poor understanding of the english language of them.
