I just installed the Neo2 Platinum and A64 3000+ 90nm last night, and formatted my HD. With normal settings, it runs fine. no hitching or anything. However, when I try to overclock, no matter how small, the board will not even boot up. I have tried increasing the FSB by 1 to 201 (I obviously tried larger overclocks before trying 1) and I also tried using the Dynamic Overclocking at 1% (smallest) and it still would not boot.
In the same setup, I had a p4 3.2C overclocked to 3.6ghz stable, so it doesn't seem like a power issue to me.
I know that overclocking is not "supported," however since I can't even use dynamic overclocking at 1% on the motherboard, there has to be something wrong. I haven't been able to find a way to lock the AGP/PCI bus in the bios, is this done automatically? Any idea's would be appreciated.
My current system is:
WD 30 gig Raptor
Antec True 480
