I have tried some older drivers that came off the disk and the newer drivers from MSI's website, along with the latest Nforce drivers. The problem is; all noises made by characters in both WoW and WC3 are very quiet, I need to turn the volume up to near full blast just to hear the character actions. Last night I decided to fiddle around with the Hardware Acceleration and I found that with the bar at the lowest setting the character actions were back, but the sound crackles badly, so I tried with the next slider up and it seems to work and the crackling is gone so far.

Question is, does anyone else have this sort of problem? Is there any way to fix it? I guess now that I found a solution it is bearable, but I don't think I should ever have to turn the Hardware Acceleration of my soundcard down...but hell I dunno.

bump.. also I see that when I change the Hardware acceleration and lower it, after awhile it puts itself back to full and the sound is then broken again....no idea what is goin on or how to make it stay...damn computers with randomly stupid problems that should never occur, damn them to hell!!
