MSI Neo2 Plat Problems

Hey guys, recently bought all new parts for a computer:

MSI Neo2 Platinum Socket 939 Mobo
AMD 3500+ 939 not proccess .013 micron i think?
WD 160GB 8mb SATA HD
Leadtek Gforce 6800GT 256mb AGP8x
Corsair XMS Extreme 1gb (512 x 2)

ok so I put all the things together and try to start the computer. At the first screen where it shows the VGA bios info its all in symbols and in different colors and I cant read anything and when it goes to the MSI Neo2 Platinum Edition Screen I cant see it well either. It then goes onto Verifying DMI Pool Data... and hangs there. All 4 leds are on, for the D bracket thing. Everything is in symbols and I cannot read anything nor enter bios. HELP PLZ!

Guys, I tried taking out the leadtek 6800gt and putting in an old tnt2 m64 from nvidia 32mb agp 4x and it works now. Do you think its because of the agp voltage settings that the 6800gt wont work?

ArMiXiA,
What have you got for a Power Supply?

Total Watts?
Amps on each rail?
especially the +12V rail.

I don't know that I can help you out, but from what I'm hearing, the MSI nForce3 Ultra MoBo needs lots of Juice.

Not on this board mind you but similar problem.. i think you fried your video card. From my recollection, the board will not post if you do not plug in the power cable to the card. 33a on the 12v rail? My very nice Antec True 430 doesnt even have that, so my guess is that is shared amps with another rail. Which PSU is it? (Model #). All in all, i will restate what others have said time and again, having a quality PSU is important. Comtemplate getting a True 380 or better from Antec, or a Fortron/Enermax/Sparkle PSU if you go others.

That all being said I stick with my previous hypothesis, your GT is fried.

Turned out the 6800gt I got was defective. Called Leadtek and said they have had other people call about receiving a brand new 6800gt that wont work and artifact at boot up like mine did. Also my power supply is 30a on +12v rail misread it last night.

TTGI Model No: TT-550SS

35A on the 3.3v
50a on the 5v
30a on the 12volt

also for the 12 volt rail am I supposed to look at the max Amps or the min Amps?

because mine is 1volt on +12volt rail Min and 30a on max

ps. What would I see on my screen if my 6800gt wasnt getting enough power because of unreliable power supply? Would it artifact as it is doing now?
