Dual LAN is great for some servers and workstations...A few examples:

Share your internet connection
Connect up 2 computers though one ethernet port without a switch
Backup server attached to 2 logically separate networks
Clustering where you need one management LAN and one normal LAN port
If one dies, you still have another onboard :)

Having a 2nd LAN port is good to have but if you don't have a need for it it's probably not worth spending the money. On the flip side a 2 port gig Intel NIC costs $100-200 by itself...

You forgot 1 connection for broadband

and

1 connection for Lan.

This is my config and I was sold on the Neo2 as soon as I saw it had this feature.

Or if you move your computer between 2 different networks regularly....

ie, at Home, i have specified my IP address (192.168.0.9 i think)
at work, we are on DHCP, and i get an IP address like 192.168.1.6
so, different subnets, and i don't have to re-enter my IP address whenever i take my comp into work...
