Hm.. I've always flashed using WinFlash. There's no difference between that and the floppy method suggested by MSI, right? I guess I'll flash again and see what happens. I'll post the results in a little bit.

Sweet. Reflashed the official 1.9 and the USB2 option in the bios reappeared. It wasn't that I needed the extra usb speed, but it was annoying how the message would popup every time I used my thumbdrive. :p Thanks guys!

That will never happen cause the mobo undervolts and can so slightly different from board to oard...

I can tell you even the official 1A bios still does not have working vcore with X2 unless you use the overvid %'s...I ca n set 1.45 to 1.55v and it will not change my vcore...If I eave it at auto to about 1.425v it will set it about .05v lower then settnig it above 1.45v...It is weird....I set it to 3.3% and it changes...

So what I do is set it to 1.5v in vid options and this helps to erase the .06v undervolting then play with the overvid percentages

10% overvid gives me 1.504v idle to 1.528v load.....10% of stock 1.35v would be around 1.485 so not far off..
8.3% gives me 1.456v idle and 1.488v load.....8.3% of stock 1.35v is 1.462....pretty damn close...
5.0% I think gave me 1.42v or so...5% is 1.417...agian pretty spot on...
3.3% 1 think I wa sgettning like arouns 1.36-1.37....1.39v would be 3.3% so not far off...

set to auto with no over vid adjustment I get 1.296v...with is 1.35v with undervolting of .06v

I decided to update to the 1.B0 bios, since i can do that thru LiveUpdate (my floppy is still not working).

I was under the impression that it would give me an additional couple dividers (i was interested in the 150 one).

But no. Instead, it gave me a world of hassles.

From AT's reviews, i have gathered that nForce 3 mobos have the best RAM performance at TRAS 10, unlike nForce4, etc.

But apparently, this new bios doesn't like that, so eventually, i figured that out, & was able to get back into Windows @ TRAS 7.

Also, half the time when i hit Delete to get into the bios settings, it just hangs at a cursor flashing till i hit the power switch to restart

I wish i hadn't switched bioses, since till i get around to determining what's wrong with my floppy, i can't flash back.

Seriously, i used to love my Neo2, but it's f*ckin' b*tch to get workin' right...

T tried that also, and couldn;t even get the delete to get me into bios 99% of the time ! I went back to 1.9, works fine.

I ran into that once in about 15 boots..

No big deal since I have it sitting pretty right now..
