MSI mobo wont boot

Hello
I have a msi k9n2 sli platinum mobo that was working until 1 day it shut off
there are those 4 lights that are either green or red, it start out all red then the 2 right most go green then the 2 in the middle go green then the lest most one goes green then back to all red and starts over again and no beeps

There was an old power supply(about 4-5 years old) that went bad and i replaced it with a rosewill about a month before this happened
I reset the memory and cpu took out the video card and i don't have another mobo to test the the cpu or memory in

What is your CPU? Did you overclock the CPU prior to the trouble?

The first thing I'd do is CMOS clear and boot the system with minimal configuration. Your board's manual should explain how to clear CMOS if you're not familiar with the procedure.

Athlon 64 X2 6000 never overclocked.
Had someone that is suppose to be real good look at it and he said it just the video card, after i got it back I still had the same problem with no video card so i did the cmos reset and it did boot, what this guy checked and how i am not sure
That said, its making a sound i dont like, basically it is the pitch of the fans are changing so i am worried about the power supply, the sound happens if i use the video card i am unclear if it is the card itself or the card not getting enough power
