MSI Mega Stick 512mb MP3 player $70 shipped

http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/ProductDetail.jsp?ProductCode=383216

Seems like a pretty darn good deal on an MP3 player with so many functions - a screen, FM radio and recording, integrated USB connector, voice recording, hell, even a flashlight.

ZZF also has the 1gb version for $120 -- not quite as good a deal, but not bad, either.

Warning: I think that the price drop is due to the fact that the new revision of the Mega Stick is coming out very soon. The new revision has a "swing arm" USB connector and an on-chip MP3 encoder that will encode CD's simply by dropping the tracks onto the player. It also features *cough* a synchonized lyrics display... for karaoke...

But if you don't want/need the features of the new revision, this is one to jump on.

i bought the original 128 mb after the anandtech review 2 years back. It's still running strong no problems. I've replaced the earphones with Sony MDR-EX71SL's and it sounds great. The battery lasts around 8-9 hours on mine in mp3 mode. Using FM mode drains it to about half of that.

I love mine, i think i might consider buying the 512 mb one. Definately a better deal than the overpriced ipod shuffle.

i have a bunch of these.........(work)

they are pretty nice. The headphones that come with it suck...but when i got some better headphones, it actually sounds really nice.

Does anyone have one of these? Does it come with any sort of belt clip(its mentioned in some descriptions but ive never seen a picture)? Id like to buy one to hook to my shorts for running.
