I've got a MSI 694D Pro2IR. It has dual P3-667's in it that work fine. Just newegged 2 new P3-1.13A/133's for it and it won't post. Put back the old ones and it works. Tried one at a time with no luck. Cleared the cmos, no luck. The board says it'll take up to a 1.13 and has 133 capability, but still no boot. The cpu's are P3-1.13A's. Is the "A" the problem? These should work right??

i think u might have ordered the 1.13 with tualatin and the 694d i think doesn't support the tualatin, pin + power difference
the 1.13 is tualatin, i'm pretty sure

MSI FAQ

Yep, it is. I also think I confused the 133 fsb with the 66/100 system bus. Hope newegg will take them back!
Thanks!!!

The Tualatin P3s only support SMP if they are the more expensive "-S" (server) series chips with the larger 512K L2 cache. You probably ordered the cheaper 256K cache versions. Just checked NewEgg's site, and the 1.26GHz-S P3 is selling for $209 each. I'm not sure if there is a 1.13GHz-S processor.

even if he gets tulatin-s chips he'll still need a new mobo
the specs forcesho posted only list support for coppermine p3's
tulatins run at a different voltage and adjust in .25 volt steps
coppermine boardsjust can't run tulatins
if he wants to keep the mobo 1.0 p3's are as high as he can go

I thought that there was a version of the 694D Pro2 that supported Tualatin-S processors, but upon checking MSI's web site I see that that's not the case.

My original (V1) 694D Pro AR is still running strong with two 866E processors.

Actually they did take them back. What's with the attitude? I'm sure that you've gotten everything right the first time, eh?
Jerk.

The majority of the time, yes, as I do my homework before making a purchase.
