I recently got a KT7Pro2-A motherboard, a 1Ghz T-Bird, some Mushkin Rev3 PC133 CAS2 RAM and some other various hardware. I looked all around in the Award BIOS, but I cannot find anywhere to change the interleaving for memory. Considering that my RAM benchmarks are kind of low right now (running at CAS2, 133Mhz). Is there any way to access these other settings for memory or is there a way to unlock extra "features" for the BIOS (like interleaving) or am I just doing something wrong? I have revision 1.8 of the BIOS right now.
With the above setup I am getting (in Sandra):
ALU/RAM 365
FPU/RAM 397
Now I'm running in Windows 98SE (if that makes a difference), since I play games a bit...
I see most people with numbers in the upper 400s to 500s...I must be doing "something" wrong. I have looked at various sites, but cannot find anything on "optimizing" the BIOS other than what I have already tried.
Thanks...
