I thought I read somewhere on AMDMB forums about not installing the entire package because part of it could cause problems in your system. I already installed one KT3ultra2 board overa onth ago and it went smooth, but I can rem if I installed the complete 4in1 package or if I followed the install advice I got last time and just installed the INF file and not the miniport, AGP, or or IDE modules. This second system is giving me transfer problems now for a week with random boots etc, so I am trying to isolate and mimic my first system to see what I am doing wrong. So any other KT3Ultra2 owners out there on WIN98SE full install? what worked for you? of if you installed XPpro, did yoiu install all 4 modules or just part? I have winxpro full version here, jsut didnt want to start on a whole new OS that I know nothin about till I find the problem under win98se, Like I said an almost identical comp is runnin fine right next to it so the installed components drivers all look same except I dont know how to look and see what part of the 4in1 I installed last time?

Thanks, good to know in case I want to just run XPpro instead, but I really wanted to get WINxp98se runnin stable since I seem to either have a hardware, MB, or driver problem...my first system is almost exactly the same setup with win98se, so I am using this as a comparision...anyone else have this MB and what 4in1 drivers did uou install?

I say the ENTIRE package.

I found that these improved compatability for me. I think they fully completed my AGP installation as soon as I wanted to upgrade my vid drivers. YMMV, but I have not noticed any issues I could trace back to the 4in1s specifically. I think they make things work better.

Thanks, I am using Sandra now comparing everything and it looks like I loaded the entire package on both comps...ok so now I keep looking for the culprit, thanks for the help though...one less thing eliminated
