MSI K9N SLI Platinum no video :(

my friend just bought a MSI K9N SLI Platinum with a evga 7800gt but when i start up the system the monitor doesn't come on? is the video card bad?

What kind of monitor are you using?
Does it say "no connection" on the monitor
Make sure the monitor is set to dvi if you have to set it manually

Possibly. Have you plugged the 7800GTX into the PCIe power connector? Also, give the BIOS reset button a shot.

If possible, try the 7800GTX in another system. Its possible your K9N motherboard could be DOA too.

i'm using a crt a work with a convert... i wont have dvi till i get home.

the diagnostic lights says Assign Resources to all ISA. Any idea what that means?

The MSI board has a diagnostic light? I never noticed on mine. 😱

its on the "D-Bracket" basicly two usb ports and four lights to tell you whats wrong.
