My MSI FID board never worked properly. I could write a novel about all the problems that I encountered with it. Anyway, the board was RMA'd and still on route to NewEgg.
Noticed these guys no longer have it listed for sale. What the !@#$% is going on now?
It's a brand new mobo, only been on the market for a few months. Do the mobo manufacturers cycle out the boards lots faster than they used to?
Anyway, can anybody recommend a replacement board that will actually work when I buy it? I'm currently fed up with the budget boards and am considering a DFI instead. Maybe one of those will actually work.
The main thing I'm looking for is something with as much of the onboard stuff as I can get, like video, lan, sound, etc.
I've already got:
2 - GSkill 1G sticks
AMD 3800 x2
Enermax Liberty 400W power supply
Seagate 250G hard drive (SATA II)
Dual layer DVD writer
And a custom-built aluminum cube to place it all in.
