Win XP SP2
Just setup the new mobo. Everything works but the onboard sound.
SB live 24-bit. No sound out of any speaker port, front/back.
MSI tech support sent link to latest drivers. Advised not to use the Realtek drivers but to use the Creative drivers.
Installed the Creative drivers and got:
Location: PCI Slot 6 (PCI bus 1, device 13, function 0)
This device is not configured correctly. (Code 1)
To reinstall the drivers for this device, click Reinstall Driver.
Re-installing drivers results in the same.
Don't know if it's an IRQ issue since it's and onboard peripheral.
bummer since it's supposed to be a nice sound option
Need some advice to cross this bridge.
