So i plugged in my new ipod and it said that i needed USB 2.0. Obviously my mobo is capable of this but i dont know how to install the drivers for it. I checked to make sure it was enabled in the bios, then reinstalled my chipset drivers. What am i doing wrong? Thanks so much for any help

1) are the controllers set to Hi Speed in the BIOS? Yes = good. HiSpeed > FullSpeed.

2) before installing the mobo drivers (which contain the USB drivers), did you update Windows to at least SP1 level (or preferably SP2 for obvious reasons)? Yes = good.

Short answer: as far as I know, yeah it's a requirement.

Bigger picture: download the whole SP2 installer from here and save it on a CD. Blow away your Windows installation, unplug the network cable, install from scratch, patch to SP2 first thing, and you are not likely to have problems. After installing SP2, now install your mobo driver package and stuff.
