What is the difference between the K8N SLI Platinum and the K8N SLI Diamond?

i think they're the same... most likely msi will be going with the diamond name. i also know theres onboard sound blaster on the diamond

The Diamond has onboard Bluetooth and wireless giglan.
The plain SLI doesn't.
The Diamond isn't being marketed in the U.S.A.
The plain SLI is.

so the only one we can get in the USA is the platinum sli one with NO creative 7.1 sound.

ZZF has the wrong listings. Here's the two we'll have here in the states, and these are from the MSI U.S.A. site---oh, the out Platinum SLI will have Creative 24bit onboard sound too.

Our counterpart to the Diamond--> K8N NEO 4 Platinum SLI

The Ultra Chipset---> K8N NEO 4 Platinum

good to know thanks. i wonder why they have it listed wrong. i hope they fix it asap. cause if they do get it on the 18th which i doubt i want to be one of the first to order!

i jsut noticed it says

It supports the 3000+ and the 3200+, it's just the way these boards are marketed---they list the most smokin' chips.
